The Vegetable & Herb Garden

Our mission is to negotiate the needs of humans with the needs of the wild in the landscape. And while we always encourage the preference of native flora, we also understand that people want to create food security in their home. There are many native plants that can provide food. But we understand that people need their tomatoes, peppers, and greens that may hail from another region.

We are here to help you find that balance (as we are always trying to achieve that balance in our own home). We are also here to help you be successful. Whether you are new to gardening or have experience, we encourage you to go through these articles. There has been a lot of change in our understanding of ecology and gardening, especially as applies to our particular region.
