reFRESH Makers Collective Fundraiser and Art Sale

Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3 during our normal hours (10am-5pm) Spadefoot Nursery is hosting an art sale by the artists at reFRESH Makers Collective. For this weekend the artists will be offering useful art objects, many of which will be wildlife supporting objects like native bee nests, bird nests, as well as items like wind chimes and other objects.

reFRESH Makers Collective is a maker and artist cooperative rooted in creativity, equity, and community care. Our members transform reclaimed, salvaged, and responsibly sourced materials in traditional and non-traditional ways. We believe in art and functional goods that are made responsibly—thoughtful in story, accessible in price, kind to the earth, and produced by need, not by volume. As a collective, we share tools, platforms, and purpose—supporting one another through collaboration.

25% of all art sales will directly benefit Community on Wheels (C.O.W.), a Tucson-based mutual aid group that provides essential supplies, harm reduction materials, and care to unsheltered neighbors in South Tucson. C.O.W. is doing urgent, compassionate work—and we’re proud to support them through this collective effort.
