The Cool Season Crops

The Cool Season begins around September and lasts until May or June. Most cool season crops are annuals that bolt (go to flower) when weather gets too warm/hot. Most Cool Season crops are relatively frost hardy in the winter, though a few of these crops may need protection during cold snaps. We live in a unique climate where we can grow crops year round, including all winter, and many of these plants can be planted even during the coldest part of our winters.
